Dear 快活app community,

The 快活app will be on a three-hour in-person delay tomorrow, Jan. 25, which means an 11:00 a.m. start time for in-person activities, other than classes.听

In the interest of maintaining pedagogical continuity at this early junction in the quarter/semester, we encourage faculty members with in-person classes beginning before 11 AM to pivot their courses online and proceed at their normally scheduled class times. If this is not feasible due to school closures or other storm-related disruptions, faculty may, of course, reschedule their class to a future in-person session.

Students should look for communication from their instructors on class status to determine whether their class has pivoted to the online mode or will instead be rescheduled.

Nelson and the Care Pod will open at 9 AM to support retesting of those in isolation.

Please be careful and allow for extra time if you are traveling to campus.

Fisher Early Learning Center and the Ricks School typically follow the schedule of Denver Public Schools. Please look for communications directly from them regarding tomorrow鈥檚 schedule.

There are several factors that go into determining when to delay the opening of campus. Tonight鈥檚 decision was made due to anticipated snow and icy conditions tomorrow morning during the commute. Additional updates will be provided at听du.edu/weather听as they become available.

The safety of our community is our top priority. For those residing on campus, please be aware that Facilities Management snow removal protocol prioritizes ADA access routes. This听snow clearing map听provides information on those locations to better assist you as you navigate the campus. Learn more about Facilities Snow Removal Plan & Policy听here.

The University will continue to monitor conditions. Further updates will be provided if necessary.
