Casey Dinger named interim vice provost for internationalization

The University is听pleased to announce that Casey Dinger has agreed to serve as interim vice provost for internationalization. Casey will officially assume the role on Sept. 1, until a successful conclusion to the ongoing national search is achieved (approximately January 2020).

Casey has worked at the 快活app since 2013, serving most recently as the academic director for internationalization. Casey brings to the role varied experiences in higher education from classroom instruction, curriculum development, assessment, academic advising, translation, institutional data analysis and internationalization programming. Before coming to 快活app, Casey worked at the University of Minnesota as an academic advisor and at the University of Minnesota at Duluth for Upward Bound Vision Quest, supporting first generation and low-income students in navigating the college application process. Casey earned his Ed.D in comparative international and development education with a focus on internationalization in higher education and an M.A. in Scandinavian studies. He also earned an undergraduate degree in history and Scandinavian studies. Finally, Casey holds a certification in administering the Intercultural Development Inventory.

快活app is truly grateful that Casey has agreed to serve the University in this capacity. Casey鈥檚 broad knowledge of the ongoing programs and initiatives within internationalization make him the ideal candidate. All of his experiences in higher education and focused training in internationalization will benefit the University during this period of transition. In this听interim role, Casey will focus on providing stability to all programs and ongoing initiatives within internationalization, as well as develop creative solutions to emerging needs.
