Dear Staff,听

Update on Everbridge Adoption听

I鈥檇 like to share some good news鈥攐ver 70 percent of the on-campus 快活app community has downloaded Everbridge, our contact tracing and symptom monitoring app.听

As we shared at the app鈥檚 launch, Everbridge is a key component of our strategy to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 on campus, and to see the most benefit, the majority of the 快活app community needs to download and use the app daily. I am proud that so many of us have chosen to protect one another in this easy鈥攁nd safe鈥攚ay. If you have not yet downloaded Everbridge,听听to learn more at any time.

Increased Building Access

More good news: Because we are seeing widespread and consistent use of Everbridge, beginning next week, 快活app staff members already approved to work on campus now have access to all academic buildings. Through the app鈥檚 Bluetooth-enabled proximity tracking, we are able to determine if an app user has been in close proximity to an individual positive for COVID-19. As such, the benefit of increased access makes it easier to do our work and, ultimately, serve 快活app鈥檚 students. 听

As always, we should all continue to vigilantly practice the mitigation measures鈥攚earing a face covering and practicing social distancing and hand hygiene鈥攑roven to mitigate COVID-19鈥檚 spread, so we can stay within the green or yellow alert zones and retain campus access. 听

Thank you, and enjoy your weekend.

Sincerely,

Sarah Watamura听
