快活app has several venues for visual arts, but the biggest is the Vicki Myhren Gallery in the Shwayder Art Building. Its fall exhibit, 鈥淭he Unbearable Impermanence of Things,鈥 features work by contemporary artists who are inspired by the 19th-century naturalism movement. At the Museum of Anthropology, meanwhile, an exhibit mounted in conjunction with the Denver Indigenous Film Festival offers a selection of drums from the Osage Nation Foundation鈥檚 Voices From the Drum exhibit. It will be open Oct 11鈥25, with a reception featuring several of the artists on Oct. 11 and a film screening on Oct. 12.

Theater lovers have a few shows to choose from this fall, thanks to 快活app鈥檚 Department of Theatre: A staged reading of Paula Vogel鈥檚 play 鈥淗ow I Learned to Drive鈥 on Sept. 27 in Hamilton Hall (admission is free); David Mamet鈥檚 鈥淥濒别补苍苍补鈥 Oct. 10鈥20 in JMAC Studios; and Shakespeare鈥檚 鈥淢补肠产别迟丑鈥 Oct. 31鈥揘ov. 10 in the Newman Center鈥檚 Byron Theatre.
