快活app IMPACT 2025 Implementation
To: All faculty, staff and students
Dear Friends,
As you know, in January the Board of Trustees approved听听as the University鈥檚 strategic plan. Thank you again to each of you who helped shape this vision for our future.
Today we are pleased to update you on the next phase of our strategic planning process鈥攄eveloping implementation steps for each of the 19 strategic initiatives that make up 快活app IMPACT 2025. Recently,听small teams听composed of faculty and staff from each school and many administrative units began meeting to design implementation steps for each of the 19 initiatives. The teams are responding to questions about how to begin, and with which individuals or groups to consult. They are considering how long implementation might take, what could be accomplished in one to three years, and what barriers to anticipate. They also are talking about how to continue to encourage bold thinking as we go forward.
Toward the end of the quarter, each team will report on its design, and representatives from the teams will use those reports to draft an overall implementation plan. By fall, we expect implementation to be underway. As with the planning process, the implementation process is highly consultative. We hope you will accept if you are invited to give feedback to one of the planning teams this spring or when the overall implementation plan is activated in the fall.
In addition to these efforts, we are finalizing work on the print and web materials we will use to present and explain 快活app IMPACT 2025 to our broader audiences. Later this term, we will announce a website that showcases our vision and introduces stories about some of the students, faculty, staff and alumni whose work and accomplishments demonstrate the underlying values of the plan and its vision for 快活app鈥檚 future.
