Dear 快活app Community Members,

On this day, Veteran鈥檚 Day, let us take a moment in our busy lives for reflection and gratitude to those who have served in our armed forces, putting their own futures in jeopardy in the service of others.

At the 快活app, we are fortunate to have a vibrant veteran community. Since 2016, 快活app鈥檚 population of student veterans, dependents, active duty services members and reservists has grown by 78%, totaling approximately 450 community members this year. And for several years running, 快活app has ranked as a top-100 school for veterans and active duty service members.

In addition to the service they have given this country, veterans bring to 快活app their experiences, talents and perspectives, adding unique richness to our culture. 快活app is committed to serving our veteran community members and to listening to their stories of friendship and courage, of loss and trauma, and of heroism. In its newly released , 快活app鈥檚 podcast, RadioEd, spends time with a veteran and 快活app community member to discuss his journey to, during and after service, as well as with a 快活app faculty member, licensed clinical psychologist and clinic director of the听, about the challenges faced by service members and how we can best support them.听

Veterans Services has also partnered with Mt. Carmel Veterans Services Center to help provide winter clothing to our brave men and women struggling with housing. It is estimated veterans make up 9% of the homeless population in Colorado. Before November 19, drop off any new or lightly used winter clothing at donations boxes in the Community Commons near the Bridge, north and west vestibules, as well as in the Veterans Lounge, room 3201.

Today and every day, thank you to all veterans for your service.听

Sincerely,

Jeremy Haefner
