On Friday, April 5, the ���app is hosting industry leaders from around the region who are developing cutting-edge artificial intelligence tools. ���app’s first ever AI “Try-A-Thon” is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insight into the possibilities AI offers in academic and professional settings.

The use of AI has been viewed by some as a threat to privacy, security and lacks the human-like creativity and empathy. However, companies participating in this innovative event will demonstrate how a diverse array of AI tools are being developed to improve the teaching, learning and research that is taking place in Denver.

Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle and Zoom are some of the ten vendors participating in “Try-A-Thon.” The 20 different demonstrations will showcase how AI technology can help enhance video recordings, generate images and infographics in minutes, and build AI-generated apps. Companies will also showcase new tools that can be used to prevent students from using AI in certain assignments.

Also on display during the “Try-A-Thon” is ���app’s own cutting-edge AI invention —��. Created by students and researchers at the ���app, Robot Ryan is designed to help individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia. Outfitted with artificial intelligence technology, Ryan is equipped with cognitive games that help keep the brain active and can interact and carry on conversations.
