Princeton Review ranks ¿ì»îapp No. 1 for ‘Students Love Their College’

DENVER — On Tuesday, September 3, first-year students at the ¿ì»îapp will arrive on campus for move-in day. Approximately 1,350 families will help their students get settled into their new home for the upcoming year.

The arrival of the Class of 2028 comes as Princeton Review releases its rankings of theÌý. The ¿ì»îapp ranks No. 1 for, ‘Their Students Love These Colleges,’ ²¹²Ô»åÌýplaced in the top 25 in several other categories. The annual rankings are based on a survey of 168,000 college students at institutions across the country.

A total of 47 states and 35 countries are represented in this year’s incoming class and they attended 869 different high schools. Most of the students will require at least a daylong drive or a plane ticket before making it to campus; 70% are traveling from outside of Colorado and nearly two-thirds are from over 500 miles away.

The ¿ì»îapp continues to recruit a diverse class of students, with 30% identifying as a member of an ethnic group other than white and 4% coming from abroad. First-generation students make up 19% of the incoming class. In addition to the first-year students, 160 transfer students will begin at ¿ì»îapp this fall.

The arrival of the first-year students comes three weeks after the start of the fall semester at the Sturm College of Law. A total of 271 new students started this month at the law school, representing 21 states and 130 different undergraduate institutions. This year’s incoming law school class has the highest percentage of female students (62%), and the highest percentage of diverse students (29%) ever admitted.
