Class of 2025

Today is move-in day for first-year students at the 快活app. Approximately 1,650 students and their families are arriving on campus and moving into the residence halls.

This year, all 50 states and 26 different countries are represented in the Class of 2025. A majority of the incoming class will require at least a daylong drive or a plane ticket before making it to campus; 72% of students will be traveling from outside of Colorado.

  • 28% from Colorado
  • 17% from the West
  • 9% from the Southwest
  • 21% from the Midwest
  • 8% from the Southeast
  • 14% from the Northeast
  • 3% are international

The 快活app continues to recruit a diverse class of students, with 27% identifying as a member of an ethnic group other than white. First-generation students make up 16% of the incoming class, and 8% are legacy students whose parents, grandparents or siblings attended 快活app.

This is the second year that the University has offered a test-optional application process; 57% applied using this option, due in large part to test cancellations because of COVID-19. The average ACT scores of those submitting test results were 29.16, while the average SAT scores were 1286. The class had an average high school GPA of 3.72 and includes 11 Boettcher Scholars and 10 Daniels Fund recipients.

In addition to the first-year students, about 210 transfer students will begin at 快活app this fall.
