As we all come back together in community this fall, we know that many want to celebrate together while also look for community and supports during this transition to this 'new normal. Therefore, in order to serve the community and help each other feel connected during these times, Community + Values has听compiled a list of programs, events, and resources for the 快活app community.

This list is meant to be focused on how the 快活app community can engage in a variety of different ways. We hope this list serves as a starting point for connection, conversation, and support.

This page will continually be updated as more information becomes available on events, programs, and resources.     Location: West side of Community Commons, near the Race St Bikeway

    快活app will be hosting a Bike to Work station as part of Denver's Bike to work day. Refreshments and swag will be available to bikers that stop in throughout the morning on their commute to work at 快活app or across the city.

    IRISE Fall Kickoff Reception & Institutional Justice Series Panel

    For the 2021-2022 academic year, IRISE (Interdisciplinary Research Institute for the Study of (in)Equality) has partnered with the Department of Media, Film & Journalism Studies and the Estlow International Center for Journalism & New Media to present a series of events and opportunities for students and faculty to engage in discussions on racial institutional justice, mass criminalization / incarceration, policing and representation with community activists, scholars, and policymakers.

    Location:听Carnegie Green Lawn

    The 快活app's Ninth Annual Crimson Classic 5k/1.5 Mile Walk will be running from 2pm - 5pm on Thursday, October 7, 2021 on Carnegie Green Lawn. The race begins at 3pm. The focus of the Crimson Classic is to celebrate wellness and to bring together our community. Let's kick off Homecoming weekend together.听

    Livingston Lecture with Esteban Gomez

    Livingston Lecture with Esteban G贸mez: No Kids on the Block: School Choice and Gentrification in New Transit Neighborhoods.

    Professor of Anthropology Esteban G贸mez will speak on the effects of transit-oriented development and gentrification on urban school segregation and school enrollment decline in the Denver Public School system. He'll be joined by Senior Associate Dean Andrea Stanton for an open question and answer from the audience, both virtually and in person.

    Expanding the Table for Justice: Join the Conversation | ODEI, BSA, BGSA & ACLU听 of Colorado

    快活app's Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion has teamed up with
    the Black Student Alliance, Black Graduate Student Association, and ACLU of
    Colorado (American Civil Liberties Union) for a community conversation to learn
    about the issues that impact you and your communities.


    Expanding the Table for Justice is a statewide listening tour organized by ACLU of
    Colorado to gather feedback about the pressing issues that are occurring throughout
    the state and the change that Colorado communities hope to see.

    Lamont School of Music Performances

    Lamont School of Music students, faculty members and guest artists perform on the concert and recital hall stages of the Robert and Judi Newman Center for the Performing Arts, one of the nation鈥檚 most extraordinary campus arts centers. Audiences select from 300 concerts and events each season featuring the repertoires of orchestras, choirs, jazz ensembles, world music, and operas.

    Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP)

    The Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP) at the 快活app provides individualized support for neuro diverse learners with Specific Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), students on the Autism Spectrum, and/or students who have a history of learning differences.

    LEP respects and appreciates parents' roles in their student's lives. We recognize that the transition of their young adult child entering college can be challenging. LEP supports parents by building a trusting relationship, while keeping students at the center of everything we do.     Student Success promotes academic excellence, engagement, and student success by empowering students to make the most of their experience at the 快活app.

    As a unit that uniquely supports and serves all students, Student Success enhances the student experience by fostering cross-disciplinary connections, providing students with the opportunities to deepen hands-on learning, to engage in community-based service learning, and to cultivate their passions outside of their major courses. Student Success also serves faculty members across the institution through multiple trainings and workshops held to develop specific skills or mindsets that are applicable for working with students both inside and outside the classroom.

    快活app has recently partnered with Academic Impressions, an organization specializing in professional development resources for higher education faculty and staff. This partnership provides access to a host of training resources designed specifically for professionals working in our industry.

    Topic areas range from skills-based trainings for professionals in all areas of higher ed, to leadership trainings on topics such as supervision, personal effectiveness, and diversity, equity & inclusion, and more.

    The Cultural Center

    The mission of the Cultural Center is to create an environment where students of color, students of marginalized faiths and LGBTQ+ students can critically engage their historical legacies, while enhancing their educational, intellectual and personal/professional interest as it relates to race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic, and cultural sensibilities; while providing a physical safe haven for respite and dialogue as they navigate their journey at the 快活app.

    Equity Is & Equity Labs |听Graduate School of Social Work

    EquityIs.org is a hub for the latest diversity, equity, and inclusion research, insights, and community building through a thoughtful exchange of ideas. It is made up of a team of facilitators, coaches, and a community of participants.

    This space also serves as a portal to our labs: Equity Labs, Hack-the-Household, and Equity Practice.

    Inclusion & Equity Education &听快活app DialogUes

    Having diverse individuals learning, living and working on campus is little more than cosmetic, if they do not interact across identities, or if their interaction is infrequent, superficial, or outright negative. Therefore, IEE provides students with information, skills, and opportunities for constructive engagement across difference, in support of SAIE and the University's larger missions.

    The 快活app provides an EAP through SupportLinc to all benefitted employees at no cost. The EAP program is a health benefit, separate from medical insurance to help you manage life's daily challenges. The EAP addresses a wide array of personal and work-related concerns, including: anxiety, depression, marriage and relationship problems, grief and loss, substance abuse, anger management, work-related pressures, stress.
